ISAM360 School Development Fund

Applications for funding of up to R50,000 are now open to eligible schools within the ISAM360 School Network.
The ISAM360 School Development Fund has been created to support practical projects, improvements and resources that can make a meaningful difference to students and school communities.
Schools may apply for up to R50,000 in non-repayable funding toward an eligible project or requirement.
Applications are assessed on a rolling basis while funding remains available.

How Applications Are Assessed

Every School Development Fund application is personally reviewed by ISAM360 Founder & CEO Marco Maisano. Funding decisions are made individually, with the aim of creating meaningful impact while supporting as many deserving schools across the ISAM360 School Network as possible.

When reviewing applications, consideration is given to:

  • Need — the genuine need for the project, resource or improvement being requested.
  • Student Impact — how many students are likely to benefit and the difference the funding could make to their school experience.
  • Fair Distribution of Funding — where possible, we aim to spread available funding across a range of schools and communities rather than concentrating funding among only a small number of schools.
  • Length of Relationship with ISAM360 — the length and history of the school’s involvement with the ISAM360 School Network may be considered.
  • School Engagement & Responsiveness — we consider the overall relationship between the school and ISAM360, including communication, responsiveness and participation in School Network initiatives.
  • Supporting Student Opportunities — particular consideration is given to schools that actively help ensure their students are made aware of the opportunities, programmes, events and resources ISAM360 makes available to them.
  • Overall School Network Partnership — the School Development Fund is designed to support schools that share our commitment to creating opportunities for young people. Schools that actively engage with ISAM360 and help us reach and support their students will generally receive stronger consideration for additional funding opportunities.

Our philosophy is simple: we want to invest back into the schools that work with us to invest in their students.

Funding is not automatic and no single factor guarantees approval. Decisions are based on the overall application, available funding and the potential impact that ISAM360 believes its support can create.

Important Funding Information

Please note that submitting an application does not guarantee that your school will receive funding.

All applications are subject to review, and ISAM360 reserves the right to approve the full amount requested, approve a partial amount, request additional information or decline an application.

There is no set timeframe for approval. Applications are assessed individually and decisions will depend on factors including the nature of the request, supporting documentation, potential student impact, available funding and the number of applications received.

ISAM360 will contact your school directly if and only if funding has been approved.
