ISAM360 Connects AmaZulu FC and Levante UD to Create an International Football Pathway

ISAM360 has taken another major step in its mission to create meaningful international opportunities for young people by facilitating a landmark football relationship involving AmaZulu FC and Spanish club Levante UD.

The initiative was brought together by ISAM360 Founder and CEO Marcos Maisano, who identified the shared potential between the organisations and led the conversations required to turn that potential into a structured international collaboration.

At the heart of the project are ISAM360’s relationships with both clubs. By connecting AmaZulu’s established youth-development structures and deep roots in South African football with Levante UD’s international training expertise, methodology and scouting network, ISAM360 has created a platform through which knowledge, talent and opportunity can move between South Africa and Spain.

The relationship was officially presented at Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban, following several months of discussions facilitated by Maisano and ISAM360.

AmaZulu FC CEO Sinenjabulo Zungu-Ntuli acknowledged ISAM360’s central role during the announcement, explaining that the conversations facilitated by Maisano had helped make the direction and value of the initiative clear to the club.

The announcement coincided with a week-long visit to Durban by representatives from Levante UD and ISAM360. The Levante delegation was led by Daniel Pastor, Head of Levante UD’s International Training area, and included Alejandro Losa from the club’s sporting department. ISAM360 was represented by Maisano and members of its team.

During the visit, the delegation was introduced to AmaZulu’s football structures and facilities, observed training sessions and attended specially arranged matches to assess emerging talent. These activities were followed by technical discussions focused on identifying promising players and establishing future sporting and training initiatives.

The programme concluded with an institutional and media event at which the project was presented to members of the South African media, local businesses and potential sponsors.

For AmaZulu, the relationship supports the club’s long-term Vision 2032 and its ambition to develop more homegrown players through its academy structures. It provides access to international knowledge, methodologies and standards while creating the potential for young South African footballers to be identified and monitored within a broader international environment.

For Levante UD, the initiative provides a meaningful entry point into South African and African football, supported by access to AmaZulu’s youth structures and ISAM360’s established presence, relationships and understanding of the local landscape.

For ISAM360, it represents exactly what the organisation was created to do: establish credible international relationships and transform them into practical opportunities that can change young lives.

This is not simply a once-off visit or symbolic association. It is the beginning of a longer-term project centred on youth development, talent identification, knowledge exchange and the creation of sustainable international player pathways.

By initiating the relationship and bringing the right organisations to the same table, ISAM360 has helped open a new channel between KwaZulu-Natal, South African football and the international game.

The announcement is a major milestone, but it is only the beginning. ISAM360 will continue working alongside both organisations as the project develops and its first opportunities begin to take shape.
